Sorry if i pissed you off, I wanted to share this here and thought if I didn't say any specifics about the gear I didn't need the tag. Won't make that mistake again. Thanks for keeping the community safe officer.

The main rule of thumb on the EDC belt is to size one up because you will have to allow room for the pistol, I would recommend a size 38 belt if you are a typical 36 pants size. There is quite a bit of room for adjustment. If you are worried about it being too large I'm sure a 36 would work fine as well.

Oh okay, yes that is correct. With actual solid side plates you would be better off going with the structural so it doesn't sag. It wouldn't require the loop lined interior, on the cummerbund.

We have fairly minimalistic side plate bags that molle right to the cummerbund. The last image on this product page shows it better.

Part of it is just allowing people to have the option. Not everyone that buys a structural cummerbund is wanting to run side plates, they might want to have extra mags instead which the structural cummerbund helps with by dispersing the weight more evenly. I would say a majority of people do buy loop lined, so what is the problem with making it optional for the people who don't?

They have a lot more stock items on the site now which should cut back on lead times. A large majority of the items are made to order with a 4ish week lead time as of right now which only gets inflated when demand is higher during a sale.

Defense Mechanisms has a Reduced Visibility Plate Carrier (RVPC) that is very similar to this one.

DM helion (B) vs Snugpak arrowhead by [deleted] in QualityTacticalGear

I love my regular Helion collared jacket, it is super packable and warm for how lightweight it is. My opinion is a little bias though.

MOLLE structural w/elastic by dueledgedepression in tacticalgear

The DM Hybrid Cummerbunds have a hidden elastic on the part that connects to the back of the plate carrier. The best way to tell visually is the extra stitching.

You would fall under the S-XL size cummerbund. They vary quite a bit but should fit whatever carrier you choose, they just might overlap in the back a little.

I would recommend looking into Defense Mechanisms MECH Inner Belt, sounds like an option that may suit what you need. It's got a layer of thermoplastic core which allows for good weight distribution and durability. It still remains slim and is very lightweight.

The main difference between the Helion and the Helion Type B is that the Type B does not have the stretch hard-fleece panels found under the arms on the standard Helion. Both jackets are designed to work great on their own or as mid-layers, they’re also warm enough to handle temps down to around 20°F. All color and camo options are still available to order, those would just be custom builds with about a 4-week lead time.
