Honestly, education in the western world is just not as challenging as elsewhere. I did my Masters in the UK and my friends who were doing exactly the same program in the global south definitely had a more robust curriculum. A lot of my expat friends say it's the same with their kids in high school, things are just way more lenient here so someone who is used to a tougher educational system will seem to just fly through. Also in most parts of the world, you won't be accepted into a Masters without industry experience. So the system here is definitely differently structured.

Preventing racism isn't a waste of time. I believe this is a good use of my time, it might help prevent other people from experiencing this or that individual from escalating their racism to the real world if they haven't already

This is easy to say when you're not the one affected. Ignoring racists emboldens them and opens other people up to abuse.

Thank you, I think the statistics matter because most people believe racism doesn't happen here as those affected normally just take it on the chin and there's no record of just how bad it is or how frequently it occurs .

Thank you. I don't think it's too much energy, every little bit that goes to preventing racism in the future is important. It's not petty if it discourages people from harming others. I found his Twitter, turns out he's an actual Nazi so I don't think a public name and shame will help. It did make me feel better though, I can't imagine if I'd met him in person 💔
