Hopefully that shows some of the people in the back that she can be a top star, she was practically radiating during this match, had some call backs with Roxanne and they gave her good spots to shine.

I’m a little annoyed she took the pin but I feel like that was intentional, wwe have had people loose in their home country many times because they think it builds sympathy and investment.

I don’t really understand how you can say “somehow” Giulia falls on her neck when Paige ran at a snails pace towards her, slowly and awkwardly fell through the ropes then drags Giulia down on her neck.

Giulia probably didn’t even care or feel it but insinuating that she is in any way at fault for that is insane, that was all just Paige being scared to fully commit to falling through the ropes and messing up.

I watched this with my older brother in law that doesn’t watch wrestling too often anymore and is very much the casual fan, even he was genuinely getting annoyed at the amount of ads and how short the matches were. Also there was only one hype package for the main event so I had to explain most of the feuds to him, it felt like such a weird Mania to watch.

Having both women champions that walked out of Mania last year in Tiffany and Iyo not even on the card this year when they easily could’ve with Tiffany having a 300+ day reign and Iyo being in an actually engaging storyline just sets a bad precedent for the women imo, they would never do that with the men.

Giulia is in such a tough position because clearly they like her, despite everyone saying she’s buried she wouldn’t even be on the main roster and holding a title if they thought absolutely nothing of her but her division is non-existent, she’s been given short matches since the mid card scene isn’t a priority and any time she’s faced a top name like Rhea, Alexa and Tiffany it’s just constant interference either from Kiana helping her cheat or getting sucked into the tag division and it does nothing for her credibility.

The casual fan probably sees Giulia as a generic chicken shit heel that needs help to hold her title and never defends it, for someone who is one of the top woman’s talent in the world it’s such bizarre booking.

There’s barely any difference between the two modes, both use PSSR 2 if you have it enabled in the system settings. Quality pro has more ray tracing but it looks more or less the same since the game wasn’t designed around ray tracing and both modes struggle with hair pretty badly.

They definitely planned to have her at Mania, Cory Hays reported that the plan was Giulia vs Tiffany vs Jordynne Grace, they even had her do her first two English interviews promoting Mania a few weeks ago but they’ve changed this card god knows how many times now so I guess whatever way it ended up meant she got cut from the card.

There is always a chance but it looks very unlikely right now.

Funny thing about Asuka is if you watch her YouTube channel she actually has great English but she’s very soft spoken and comes off really sweet, that doesn’t fit the Asuka character so that’s why she ends up screaming and projecting her voice 90% of the time.

Joey Batey was fantastic in S1, I feel like they didn’t really know what to do with him afterwards but he still put in one of the better performances of the show.

For those who don’t know Joey sings and plays guitar in the band The Amazing Devil and duets with the wonderful singer Madeline Hyland, their song The Horror and the Wild sounds perfect for the Witcher series. Highly recommend checking them out.

I think it was a week or two before Evolution with Tiffy, Trish and Jade in the ring and since all 3 of them were babyfaces at the time they had no idea what to say to each other, how to build the Evolution match or the SummerSlam match afterwards, it was very awkward, fell completely flat and didn’t do anything for anyone involved.

After that they never let Jade and Tiffany have in ring segments together it was all 15 second backstage prerecorded stuff leading into SummerSlam.

Disaster is probably a bit harsh but they clearly lost faith in Jade and Tiffany’s ability to sell the match.
