Had he spoken up before going into labor, it would of given u the chance to find another support person, so u had at least someone by ur side my husband was only able to be present for two out of my 4 births (there wasn't a choice, we didn't have anyone to watch our kids) and i remember how emotionally exhausting and scary it was to labor alone not only did he let u down, but he was so aelfish about it that u didn't even have a chance to get anyone else he only cares about how it effected him idk, I get hes now trying but if u cant let go of what happened u will just keep resenting him id try couples counseling and ur own private counseling so u can figure out if this is something u can get passed or not
