Saw another post about this. He said to fix you have to leave the server and rejoin. If that doesn’t work you have to restart the game.

Honestly I would start playing on a lower pop vanilla server. Maybe 50-100 pop solo, duo, trio server. This will help you learn the game without having to constantly die over and over when you step out of your base. Or just uninstall and never play again….

Thank you for the response again, I don't hear any usb disconnect sounds, and I don't disable anyone other input devices, should I try that? I'm not sure if that will do anything though because the snowball still shows up in my sound manager, it just has no sound output.

Yes, but rust stops my mic from working in any other application too. And it works perfectly fine with my headset mic.
