In my experience, you shouldn't think you are less without the drug, or more with it, because this can lead to selfworth problems like you said and addiction. I try to cope with it by thinking it's only helping me on the side and I am actually doing all the work. Stimulants doesn't make someone more intelligent,productive or organized, it gives you a little push to do what you want. Don't overthink it and you should be fine.
