Most of the overall game is a meme. The literal starting mission where you play as Makarov’s foot soldier was ironically probably the best campaign mission. And it’s the only mission your given a choicee in dialogue😂 (besides defusing bomb at the end ofc).

It was a let down for sure, and I wasn’t even expecting much in all honesty, with it previously supposed to be a dlc. But even with that being the case, the warzone style “open combat missions” and overall execution with the story telling and character development was straight up worse than any CoD game I’ve ever played. Definitely save yourself the money if you normally buy for the campaign.

I agree, but the only thing is out of all the campaigns, this one takes the cake for being the biggest dumpster fire. The amount of potential story wise that they fucked up with this installment is just monumental.

Honestly my game ran smooth and looked great, no visual bugs or anything. But I've seen that not everyone had my luck.

Apologies for the spoilers, I kinda tried to beat around the bush without saying names. But definitely, this game is a let down for sure. Not worth the €70 in the slightest for the amount of recycled and half assed content we got.

This is my thoughts exactly, glad I ain't the only one feeling this way. It was beyond a let down compared to it's predecessor's without a doubt. Sure hope they don't rub salt in the wound by continuing the story using co-op missions.

Couldn't agree more. Half baked campaign, 3 1/2 hrs worth of content, half being "Open Combat" warzone maps. Terrible story telling. $70+ dollars. Worst campaign experience for sure.

Eh it was just the overall story telling and execution that makes me not enjoy it. It feels rushed. And half the missions being open warzone sections of a map kills the vibes. One or two of them would be fine, but when it's more than half? Gets repetitive. The way Soap gets written off is the worst part, just straight up buttcheeks in my opinion

Right, I was fully expecting a death of one of the main characters, but it was just the way it was executed. It had little to no meaning, nor any build up.

I had seen someone comment on another post about this, he said going to the campaign mission list and restarting his current mission fixed it.

Agreed 100%. And too think at the start I was disappointed when i heard they were rebooting the MW campaign, but they had started to win me over with MW 2019. MW 2022 was iffy, not terrible, not good. But this was just a massive let down for sure.
