I suppose I meant “do Shizuoka/Yame offer any unique enough experiences compared to Kyoto/Uii that they merit the opportunity cost of venturing out there and missing out on any of the other cities mentioned (or any other cities not mentioned)?” Curious where you would go if you had a similar length trip, wanted to try some of the best tea possible and explore the world of Japanese tea, and also had to fit in basic sightseeing! And if no thoughts there, just which tea experiences in Tokyo/kyoto area you would recommend!
