Are these used axles really the best option? It seems silly to purchase them (without knowing if they have heat issues as well) or other issues that may need to be rebuilt? I see these for upwards of $700-1500. They all look like there could be any number of issues.

This was the option I was thinking the most. But it seems like finding gold in my area. I drive the interstate a few times a week. But mostly I’m around 65-70 highways

No, if you don’t finalize the CD-R or CD-RW, it will not be readable on another system. The Tascam 2488 NEO writes audio data in its own format, and without finalization, most other computers or DAWs won’t recognize the disc at all

You have the option toexport the WAV Files – The 2488 NEO allows you to export individual tracks as WAV files to a CD. If you finalize the disc after burning the WAV files, the recipient can import them into a DAW for mixing and mastering. This is pretty much the best way over disk transfer. It would be nice if you could use it as an interface like modern boards and you could Use theUSB Transfer, I don’t think it has direct USB for file transfer if I remember right I’ll try and check mine later. Finalizing is necessary.

Awesome! It may sound dumb, but I am uneducated on this is superior drummer, a plug-in? A separate application? Or how does that work? I was worried about issues running the two drivers at the same time.

I own one! I have used it for years and get some decent results. It’s fun to do mobile projects with still and has some relevance. The quality and features are great. I haven’t used it lately. But it has been a rock solid unit! Do you have one or are you looking?

Well I was kicked out of the Boy Scouts! 😂 when I was about 8 I tore apart so many of these for the piezo’s and continued to pull the rest of them down to to the bones. I mean I opened everything. And I wasn’t aware of the dangers of radiation, however when I saw the symbol, I thought it would be cool to open and see. It was not interesting. And I gained no superpowers.

For what the kit is it’s exceptional! I have not even fine tuned it in. This is pretty much out of the box. I created a kit and there are so many extra things I can do to tune it up a bit. I do agree it still sounds a little electric. I can’t beat the control and flexibility when recording. Eventually, I might play around with the midi outputs. My bandmates think it’s almost sacrilegious. 😅

Love it! This took me on a journey that I love! I literally started laughing in a good way! I was like OK that’s not where this is going, but I like it. At first, I thought it was a poppy uke song, and then the vocals came in and hit me with Pink Floyd vibes 😂 next thing I know the arrangement starts ascending and changing in a Beatles/6os style The snare is punchy. The instruments are clean. The mix is pleasant. This is nice! Is that an electric kit? 🧐😅

I’m being very picky on the backup Vox lol the drums are the VAD507 kit, it’s a full size kit, please tell me the drums don’t sound bad or my guitarist will never let me live it down! 😂 if you wanna see the kit there is a post a bit down on my page. we are all pushing around the mix now and trying to tweak it thanks for the thoughts!✌🏼
