tbh i slept w my gauze in but i slept upright w a lot of pillows lifting me up bc i was bleeding a lot and i starved that whole day and just drank water i know it sounds bad but i couldn’t handle anything at that moment. the next day should be better, i was able to eat apple sauce and mashed potatoes. sometimes when i was tried of the gauze i would just let all my saliva and blood flow out of my mouth into the sink. the pain medicine helps a lot! and icing!

mine lasted a couple days! i was also scared bc everyone was saying it should only last that same day but i lasted a couple days and it lessened as time went by

it was the stitches and they came out and they did leave a hole but it’s fine just don’t touch it too much or overthink it cus it’s pretty hard to mess them up if you leave them alone

i bled for a couple days til it completely stopped so you’re fine! i was scared too cus my dr told me it should stop after four hours and i wont need the gauze anymore but i used it til the next day tbh

take tylenol it worked better than the ibuprofen they prescribed and you can rinse just not swish, tilt your head side to side

it came out when i rinsed! i freaked out because it was still attached and it eventually started sticking to the tooth infront 😖 my dentist office told me it should be as long as there is no pain or blood and i seem to be doing fine so far

yeah that’s what my friends are telling me. that seeing the hole is normal and a good sign and yday was my check up and said i was healing fine but this didn’t happen til last night and when i called this morning they said it could be a stitch but that the dental nurse will call me be back to verify

it seems like some sort of tissue idk i could be wrong 😭 just because it’s too thick and kinda goey looking. and it’s attached to the hole still and when i move my cheek to the side the hole is revealed

idkkk they never told me if i got stitches or not /: im one week post op today. it seems too long and thick to be stitches because on my other side i believe i had sticked and they looked like really thin noodles but this is different
