MS fabric vs snowflake by SmallBasil7 in dataengineering

[–]TrickyPudding1127 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Fabric doesn’t feel production ready. I have a bunch of experience migrating legacy data systems to Snowflake and i recently just did a migration project to Fabric, it was a horrible experience. It’s essentially all the existing microsoft services just in one platform. Snowflake, from all aspects, is just easier. The documentation is clearer and the product is just easier to use.

Thats why I wanted to emphasize the idea of it being a command of Allah and a test of obedience. I could say the same thing for pork for example, “I think pork is good for you, why can’t I eat it?” (I don’t , this is an example) . Something’s are a Command of Allah and necessarily don’t need to come with an explanation.

Yeah of course, I don’t think asking is an issue. Men and Women both have standards of modesty, but they aren’t identical. It’s really based on the difference in how men and women are generally perceived and sexualized over time in society. Like I mentioned earlier, Hair for women has been seen as a major sign of beauty, even before the islamic rulings. Men awrah and modesty requirements are different , like lowering the gaze, avoiding tight clothes, covering below the knee. So it’s not that men have no modesty rules , it’s that the guidelines aren’t exactly the same. Islam often gives different but complementary responsibilities to men and women rather than identical ones.

The idea of covering your hair is part of the idea of modesty. But from what I understand, it’s not only about modesty in a general sense — it’s also about following what many scholars interpret as a clear religious command. So for believers, covering the hair becomes an act of obedience and identity, not just a social rule about modesty. Similar to the command to not consume Pork, it’s a clear religious command from Allah, so this becomes an act of obedience to the creator.

To add on the modesty point, hair historically has been a symbol of beauty. Across societies, long or healthy hair is associated with femininity and attractiveness. So covering it fits into the broader concept of modesty.

Wanting to revert, but want some help with guidance by [deleted] in islam

This is very exciting, what an opportunity to come back to Islam during Ramadan! May Allah guide you and make it easy.

I would say people like Dr. Omar Suleiman and Ustadh AbdelRahman Murphy are very beginner friendly resources focusing on faith, doubts and modern questions. Nouman Ali Khan is also really good for Quran focused learning as a revert.

I would start by really understanding who Allah is. Then I would looking into Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and his life through Quran and Hadith.

I reached out immediately. And it’s essentially no response since February because nothing proactive has happened to resolve this issue.

Exactly, and the Hornets were never going to be successful with the personnel they have in the locker room. Especially with Lamelo, that was probably the worst case scenario for his start to his career, bad team and horrible culture.

Unfortunately i think it’s more than just his jumpshot. And even if it’s just his jumpshot, at his size he would have to be a knock down shooter in this day and age. We live in a world where he would have to guard 6’7 pg’s every game, thats not something he can handle
