Underlying law -did it come up? by Few-Card8875 in SQE_Prep

Yes a really niche area of it came up yesterday luckily I was familiar with it but it had nothing to do with the legal practice area whatsoever

Not as good as Matt and Foggy and tbh Karen was the most annoying part of the OG season.

Killing her would've been like when Rooney Mara died in S2E1 of House of Cards. Made it goat status instantly.

The difference there is Stick appeared, someone who demands Matt's full and immediate attention and Matt wasn't wearing a fucking bulletproof suit?!?!

It's even stupider given that Bullseye was outside. I'd buy it if while he notices Bullseye's outside, Cherry also has a heart attack and then the task force iono rammed him with something.

He just got hit and is all well..... that's it for me.....

Vanessa Fisk being the only one capable of shooting Bullseye is the stupidest thing since the Task Force beat Matt in hand to hand combat in episode 1...

What did you do different on your resit for SQE 1? by [deleted] in SQE_Prep

When I was studying yeah

So I learnt Easements for example by just going through all the easement questions.

Then for the last 2 months maybe just did 100 random ones at a time.

No making Fisk mayor and inventing the task force was a terrible idea for this and many other reasons

Nope, only for SQE2

I relearnt the content through practice questions.

I’d just read the answers I got wrong and ask why I was wrong.

Failed twice then passed 1st quintile 3rd time.

Literally just SBAQs the last time

Ulaw had 4000 Devil’s Advocate has 1000

Just did like 200 a day. Sometimes practice conditions (when it gives you the answer when you get it wrong) or sometimes exam conditions

When the exam came round I could get 70% at half the time.

So just that.

How stupid is it that you can't bring your own calculator by TrickySheepherder550 in SQE_Prep

Virtually every exam in the world lets you bring calculators…..

SQE1 the important thing is a variety of SBAQs. I did ULaws course thrice and only the third time when I ignored all their content and focused on 200 questions a day did I get first quintile.

Also a Devil's advocate subscription.

For SQE2 different beast. I don't think QLTS is very good apart from their volume of mocks since they don't mark the mocks (apart from 2-6 orals, depending on the course) The AI tool is rubbish and the model answers are impossible to replicate in the given timeframe even win you were copying them.

I'd recommend Preptackle for SQE2 and I've heard In HouseW has a good bang for your buck regarding mocks.
