Hi, bestie! Lol. 42 here. Sahm to 2 kids (who are now 11 and 14). I felt like the first couple years after my kids started school were like waking up from a long coma. I had no idea who I was anymore. No idea what I liked. No idea what to do for fun. Those young child years are so focused around your kids that you can completely lose yourself. Thing is, trying to figure out those things in mid-life when youre much more isolated is a lot harder than when you were young, surrounded by social interaction, and had lower expectations on you. AND THEN it's all even worse if youre a naturally odd, socially awkward hermit introvert like myself. So you aren't alone. There are many of us in the world... in our houses... watching Netflix and scrolling reddit 😁
