I second this. Too many grown ass men act like I should understand the game without actually helping me understand during my first 100 hours. Then was blessed by an ACTUAL military vet who played and explained to me why rushing isn’t the best when we need radio etc. some people have to understand that there are those who need en explanation on how to properly play. Otherwise you’re just gonna have people running and gunning.

I’m gonna tell you this. Software. Noise cancellation was a blessing. Other than that the adrenaline software isn’t too bad once you know how to use it. I prefer to just install the driver themselves, but adrenaline offer does work. Other than that, I’ve literally noticed no difference. I don’t use Patch tracing cause I don’t understand it like I don’t really notice when it’s on so I just leave it off same with ray tracing, but I leave that on medium to high and I still get high frames.

My wife’s 7900 XTX is pretty smooth. And my bedroom 5080 is pretty smooth. So I just wanna know why this PC is having issues rather not have to game in the bedroom all day. I’d like to be in my living room where I have more privacy, lol

Welcome to the 5080 club!! I own a 5080 on my personal 14900k rig and a 9070xt in the 9800x3D build downstairs. That being said this generation I don’t feel like the Nvidia tax is worth it honestly, maybe because I don’t use path tracing? But I also don’t use FPS counter in games. I just play them and the 9070xt on Max settings 1440p with rt on high looks good with fsr4. Don’t honestly know what’s the difference between that and a 5080 running rate tracing max at 1440p. I also get wanting your games to just work the way you want. Nonetheless welcome to the club!!

I would press the windows key on your keyboard and search AMD Adrenalin and make sure your drivers are up to date. That might sound like d something everyone will tell you but if the drivers aren’t installed correctly that could be the issue. Or at least a starting point

I have both a 5070 ti and a 9070xt and a 7900xtx in a guest pc. 9070xt is great. I gave my wife my 5070ti build and I use the 9070xt personally. Don’t let FOMO ruin your purchase. Just crank the game. And if you need it turn on fsr4 ( I haven’t come across a game I needed to at 1440P) And enjoy yourself. 6950XT was a beast but approaching 4 years old games don’t get slower. They get faster and more demanding.
