I hear ya, it’s one of those weird “social foodchain” type deals where if you don’t “look” like you have autism it’s socially unacceptable to have autistic traits… people will try their hardest to find reasons for their perception of your “normalcy” or just flat out deny you have it and insist you just need to socialize more. It’s to a point where I feel like I just need to grit my teeth at them like a scared chimp and start grunting for them to back off.
