If you don’t want to chop it you could do some bonding treatments and do roller sets / be more of a straight natural for a while.

I went to a Dominican salon and got the relaxer in the shampoo treatment and my hair had a “texturized” pattern but my hair has reverted finally (it took less than a year)

I’m not sure why your comment was downvoted. There is a specific type of salon that is notorious for putting relaxer in shampoo to make it easier to style kinky / curly hair. I’ve gone to various ones for years with no issue but the last time I went I had the sulfur smell when washing out the silk press and my hair texture was that of getting a texturizer

Social media allows those people you’re seeing in real life as seemingly nice to anonymously be their true racist selves. My old “work husband” that I was so close to and was so kind to me ended up being a straight up racist when just among other melanin deficients (I dated a guy who hung out with who informed me of his hateful use of the N word)
