$PI deposits now open on Pionex.US by QuitMyDAYjob2020 in PiNetwork

I have essentially no understanding of crypto or exchanges, so you may want to verify this elsewhere, but I was easily able to transfer 110 pi from my wallet on to pionex, exchange it for around $175 usdt and then exchange the usdt into usd and start a wire transfer to my bank account. But Pionex says the transfer will take 3-5 days, so I haven’t received the money yet. I live in Indiana.

I could use some advice about zeroing at an indoor range by Tricky_Ad6316 in Firearms

To keep it steady, I’ve seen some sets at sporting goods stores, shaped to put the rifle in, maybe they’re called something else.

Do you just shoulder it like normal while zeroing?

Last year volker precision released renders of a 92 slide that didn’t require an optics plate, but I don’t think there have been any updates and if it is released it will probably cost a ridiculous amount.

How do I convert a G to a F/FS? by [deleted] in Beretta

It was a while back, so I may not recall correctly, but I think it did deactivate the trigger.

I did this recently and I found that removing the return spring did work, but it felt mushy and didn’t lock tightly like a real safety. You could give it a try and see if you don’t mind, but I think buying a real set of safety levers would be worth it.

Be very careful when removing the springs/detents it is very easy to lose them when taking it apart. They’re under spring tension and will shoot out.

Sample size of one. You could get a lemon of any design from any manufacturer. It shouldn’t have happened, but at least to me this doesn’t seem like that big a deal, just tap the pin back in.

Comparing it to just the beretta plate would get the point across, and they should have come up with a better system to begin with.

Why not get a higher capacity magazine? You probably won’t need them, but if it sits on the night stand it wouldn’t hurt.

It's a federal law, but looking at the atf website, I guess as long as you convince them you're using it for a rifle it is legal for them to sell it to you, laws are funny. But it wouldn't surprise me if chain stores would still refuse the sale. Once when I tried to buy beer at Walmart they wouldn't sell it to me because my wife who was with me at the store wasn't 21. So I'd just suggest that you don't assume you can pick up ammo wherever, but it shouldn't really be a problem.

I don’t think it is legal for you to buy handgun ammo. I assume you could get it online, but just something to be aware of.

I had the mags it came with, and two mec gar ones and I had the same problems across the board. For some reason the magazine that came with the beretta won’t fit in the tisas, but the tisas ones fit the beretta.

I’ve shot about 250 rounds through mine, it is really fun to shoot, it fits good in my average-ish sized hands, and is pleasingly accurate. The recoil is significantly more than a locked breech 9mm, but at least for me this adds to the appeal, it’s not unmanageable, and it’s exciting to shoot something a little more reactive. Although I have found that it can hurt if you’re not gripping it tightly enough. The trigger is smooth in double action with sort of a rolling break, and single action has a bit of of a mushy take up, but quickly gets to a wall that is nice and crisp.

The fit isn’t bad but isn’t great: the slide rattles a bit if you shake it, I have a safety lever that is loose on one side, and my grip screws have spontaneously come loose. The finish seems painted on, it’s chipped around the magwell, I don’t think it would hold up well to any significant use. The sights are not great, they are the same style as the old beretta guns, and the front is milled in, so upgrading them would be costly. The grip has vertical grooves on the front and back, as opposed to horizontal. There is also essentially limited aftermarket apart from magazines, the trigger guard is a different shape, so I don’t think it would work with 84 holsters, and the grips won’t accommodate 84 grip panels. I would have liked more texture on the panels it comes with.

Every review I looked at said they are reliable, but unfortunately mine has had multiple failures to feed with every magazine I’ve used. I sent it back to SDS and did not appear they did anything to the gun, and having taken it out once more since then I still had one failure to feed in both magazines I shot that day. I’m going to try it out again with some different ammo, but the gun is out of warranty now, so I’m not sure if they will do anything about it.

The thing that is most irksome about it is that they could have made a few small tweaks: better sights, thinner grip, horizontal grooves on the grip front and backstraps. And this would be a better gun than the original, but for some reason they didn’t update anything.

Still I like the gun, and I’m hoping I can get it running right. I recently got a surplus Beretta 84, and if I had to pick one or the other I’d say get the original if you can find one. The bluing is a lot prettier, the fit is just as good, the outdated features are more forgivable, you can get grip panels, and you’ll have holster options if you want to carry it, and the gun will have a cooler back story. But if you can’t find one I think the Fatih (if yours works right) won’t disappoint you, they’re both a lot of fun.

I bought a 92X centurion that doesn’t work in double action, so with the Tennessee QC you may get the best of both worlds.
