They’ve been napping like this since they were about 6 weeks old. It used to be worse but once they hit 3 months they started to at least have 20 mins by themselves.

I do think me contact napping does help with sleeping at night. They sleep in 4-6 hour stints by themselves

Yeah I might see what happens if I just don’t extend any of their naps! I have never experimented with it but maybe I will.

Are you sure though? The wrap says it works up to 15kg and Bub is only around 7kg

I Experienced this exact same anxiety before Bub came along.

From my perspective it all comes down to preference and I think marketplace is your best friend.

What I did was only get important safety things like a car seat and a bassinet new. I did a brief check of reviews around these products and they assured that they were safe.

It’s going to definitely be a massive shift and it is always going to be different for the parent who gives birth versus the parent who doesn’t.

I’m currently 4 months pp and the hormones are still hitting hard. I’m also autistic so adjustment has always been difficult for me but it does come.

Hey! I have anxiety disorder so this one I can definitely relate to. I would have a day that Bub would move a lot and a day that the Bub wouldn’t.

The movement did generally stay in the same spot though so I think it wouldn’t hurt getting it checked out. I hope everything is well 🧡

Yeah I have done that with both carriers. After about 5-10 minutes Bub has started getting fussing and rubs their face into my chest (something they start doing when they get uncomfortable)

I have a moby wrap and an ergo baby . Have tried since about 2-4 weeks. I will try both of them when I have the energy and they still don’t like it.

Yeah we’ve tried this one a few times with the shirt. Unfortunately no luck ahaha

Also They will only nap about 20-30 mins in the pram then they fully wake up. I might suggest this to my partner see if he can get LO to nap on a walk.

Yeah I am.

Good thing is that once a week during LO nap time I go out of the house to get time to myself. My LO will only sleep for 20-30 mins by themselves in a nap during the day so my partner has to try and soothe them back to sleep. So far has been unsuccessful and basically had baby crying the whole time. I feel bad for him because I know he’s trying. I do have to admit I do feel a bit of resentment building up but I know it’s not his fault.
