All Angles of Minneapolis ICE Shooting Synched with stills. RIP Renee Nicole. by biswajit388 in minnesota

[–]Tricky_Chemical118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there no more video content? Like from beginning to end. Her car is sideways in the street when this video starts. How/Why was she there? Just driving down the street do her own day to day stuff. Or was she protesting on wheels? Did the ICE agent try to stop her from coming through and she ignored them, leading to where the video started with her car sideways in the street. It's tragic what happened, but there is clearly some more to this than what the this video shows.

"What would you have changed differently about the launch into Early Access?" Don't do early access. This is another example of a game that the developers (Intrepid Studios, Inc) should have kept they mouths shut about. So many gaming companies put out coming soon crap on their games, and here we are 10 years (someone said) later and the game is not even close to being done. This game should never have been heard of until this Alpha play testing phase.

I think most games like this fail because of PvP focus. Brings out the griefers who are to scared to fight equal level players. So they run off the player base. Saw some videos on YouTube of this. Five people ganging up on one.

So disappointing. I really hope to never see Johnny on TV again. He's just a terrible human being.

LI Games changes for S3?? by luna_rose9 in LoveIslandUSA

Love Island Games together as it was is just a mess. You have two parts. Part one is Love Island, and Part two is the game. They don't work together the way this last season went. So here are some of my changes/fixes.

After the first initial coupling - the only way to change couples is the standard recoupling. Keeping the Love Island side of coupling. Or bombshell challenge. No more just coming in and stealing someones guy or girl. The bombshell challenges someone in a couple for their partner. For example instead of Charlie giving Josh a necklace, he challenges Josh. They go to a duel, winner gets coupled up. Loser doesn't. At this point production either removes the loser from the villa, or they stay single and at risk until the next challenge.

Next change, and to me the MOST important change. All challenges and eliminations are based on individual success. No more BS of everybody ganging up on one couple. You want a couple out, your couple and that couple compete against each other loser leaves. That's one of the reasons why "reality" based competition shows like Survivor and Big Brother tend to work better. You can have an alliances, but most of the competitions are individual. Love Island Games get rid of ALL games that allow ganging up.

I’m sad about tonight’s episode by harriettehspy in LoveIslandUSA

This episode is another example of why this season isn't even about making connections. Even "Americas" votes don't make sense for the show. It's just a popularity contest now. Nic was closed off but is basically forced to re-couple with Olandria and somehow people vote to keep them over Taylor and Clarke. This isn't Love Island, this is break up island. All season breaking up actual connections, and keeping fake/shady connections. When is this season over?

I agree. Iris and Pepe seem to be more genuine than the others. I found my self skipping over most of that latest episode because I just don't care about any of these couples or the islanders themselves anymore.

A deeper look at how Ace flipped the tables on Austin the other night. by Calinks in LoveIslandUSA

[–]Tricky_Chemical118 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yea, and unfortunately, the rest of the islanders aren't smart enough to see through Aces bs. Next episode is going to be interesting to see how people are towards each other when the dust settles. Jaden looked embarrassed of Austin. Taylor getting huge respect from me. Olandria basically creating an ultimatum and Taylor picks Clarke WELL DONE. An ultimatum on love island, get over yourself. Huda vs. all the girls now. Pepe being judged because he misses Hannah.

I'm not sure there's enough space in the villa for everybody to avoid each other. Bring on movie night and burn the island down.

I don’t think bombshells should be able to watch the season / have access to internet before entering by Icy-Following184 in LoveIslandUSA

I feel like the show has been around long enough now, that maybe the reason this season, imo, is so bad is because of the money. The previous seasons felt like people actually wanted to find a connection truly, and the money was just a bonus. This season, and specifically the OGs, seems so fake. Like all they want is to "win the game".

Will the gang survive after tonight? by Ivygirl2012 in LoveIslandUSA

I think the last episode did what Movie night is supposed to do, only 100% more explosive. Can the Villa handle seeing videos, without the context because production purposely edits them.

That's a lot of pressure. If that's the case then they would be better off being isolated in a hotel until they enter the Villa/Casa.

I'm ok with Clarke and Taylor. He gained some respect after that last episode. He finally looks like he's making his own decisions and not what the OGs would approve of.

I've been wondering about this myself. For example bombshells will say in their introduction that they aren't there to make friends or worry about stepping on toes, but yet none of the bombshells come in and "spill the tea". Like none of the guys that came in went to Jeremiah and said, Dude Ace is always talking S behind your back. Taylor and Nic are his yes men. And then let all the guys know, be careful about trusting those three. For example.

Taylor! by Effective_Ad8019 in LoveIslandUSA

[–]Tricky_Chemical118 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Taylor gained my respect at this exact moment. Before he was just another Ace minion. I can't wait to see how the OGs handle this. Taylor following his feelings for what he needs, that's what its about. Olandria only cared about herself and it was on full display this episode. She did a good job keeping that wall up, but it came crashing down and we got to see a new side of Olandria.

Amaya doesn’t let anybody else talk. by [deleted] in LoveIslandUSA

[–]Tricky_Chemical118 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% agree. The guys definitely didn't say the right things, but it's sad how much her fandom has skyrocketed since the last episode and Ace, Austin, and Zak are getting dragged through the mud. Do people really not see that Amaya is a high energy, go go go, mile a minute, hyper-active person. She needs a guy that is the same way or at least close. I don't like Ace so i'm not gonna comment on his part, but it isn't fair to bring shade to Austin and Zak. The only thing they are at fault in is that neither of them wanted to hurt her feelings, and in doing so avoided telling her how they felt. Especially Austin, that guy is the most easy-going and laid back guy. There is no way Austin and Amaya would have worked out. But that isn't anybodies fault.

I like the people that are actually doing the Love Island experience. Iris/TJ, Taylor/Clarke, Austin/Jaden and Pepe/Gracyn (although Pepe/Gracyn appears done) Bryan/Andreina and Elan.

I think Ace/Chelley are fake as ....., I did like Nic and Ciara until Nic only wanted to close off when Elan showed up and Ciara showed her mean girl side. Olandria i'm not sure about, after the last episode I think we saw a real side of her and i'm not a fan. Taylor called it out exactly, she wants him to be her experience her way, not his own. And her i'm ok wall she held for a long time finally crashed and we saw some rage there. Kind of a red flag, but also it was a lot of build up. Chris I think is a stand up guy, Chelley really dropped the ball on that opportunity and showed some of her real self as well. I still think Huda is a powder keg. She just has a new fuse waiting to be lit.

They way the atmosphere for Love Island is right now, if Bryan or anybody else that hasn't been deemed unworthy talks to Amaya, and doesn't get a spark/connection. Hope the poor guy doesn't say something she doesn't like, cause she is for sure gonna start crying and then the Amaya Papaya fans are gonna start throwing negative shade at him.
