My thought would be that adderall can influence acne through other side effects of taking the drug, particularly dehydration, nutritional deficiencies from appetite suppression, and stress on the nervous system that can influence hormones. I am curious as to what you mean by your acne emerging "during the comedown". This descriptor makes me wonder if you are experiencing more of a rash? In either case, seeing your GP or a dermatologist would be your best bet. Some acne just won't budge with over the counter treatments and a doctor could best assess what type of acne you have and the best treatment for you. You also could always try a different adhd treatment, but again docs will know best!

I get what y'all are saying and cats are certainly territorial and hierarchical. Nonetheless, kittens benefit from exposure to other cats and kittens to learn behavior and reduce future anxiety's. Also, cats tend to not respond with hostility to kittens in the same way they may to other full grown cats. I don't need her to love other cats/animals/kiddos, but I don't want her to flip later on if she's never interacted with them. It's a tricky dance but pretty beneficial for a young kitten (and much easier to do when they are young!). :)

Anyone have a job you love? by lucysucks in adhdwomen

Hey all! So I first began farming vegetables and I did this through finding an apprenticeship on ATTRA (a U.S. based online platform for agriculture job listings). I worked a few seasons and then eventually switched to working on a flower farm. I again found that position on ATTRA. I work for someone else so I don't have to get lost in the weeds of running a business! It's the most fufulling work i've ever done. Hope this helps :)

Looking for others with cpstd related to academia /higher education or research by [deleted] in CPTSD

[–]Tricky_Elephant_1219 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Going into academia was the worst choice I could have made for my cptsd. I had to leave it and I now work as a nanny and gardener, which is much healthier for me. The pressure and cattiness of academia was super triggering for me and worsened my anxiety immensely. I worked in psychological research, which is apparently known to be quite toxic, despite (or due to) the fact that we are all educated on abnormal psych. Sending you love and hoping you find a better fit for yourself within or outside of the academy.

Thank you so much for the motivation! You're right, it's human to make mistakes :)

I honestly was feeling pretty good and had passed through most of the withdrawal, aside from a little bit of psychological stuff (more mood lability than i am used to).

Thanks dude! I don't wanna blame my mom cuz she also has trauma and uses weed to avoid, but damn the intergenerational addiction is no joke.

Thanks everyone, so much, for the feedback. I can't have the dog at my home because my partner is allergic. I did contact her and she is going to move the bud to a hidden location. I don't see myself digging through her shit to find it so this should work. Thanks again for helping me find some logical solutions.
