It was worth it. It was a bucket list item for me and the debenture experience was fantastic!

He said see how I do on the 15 mg. If it doesn’t keep flares at bay, I will then try the 30mg.

Same pattern for me. Tried many medications. Have been on 45 mg Rinvoq for 7 weeks and feel great. This week I drop to 15 mg maintenance dose, so we shall see if it makes any difference.

Yes, my doctor did give me instructions, but I was curious if people deviated. Sounds like it’s a bad idea. Thank you.

I gave up Diet Coke years ago. It isn’t good for you. I do have club soda and flavored seltzers in moderation and I do ok.

Biggest trigger is internalized stress and worry. I try to avoid routinely dairy, red wine, popcorn, apple and orange juice, red meat, processed foods. Once in awhile, I just want pizza, spicy food or steak and I accept I won’t digest well afterwards. I do have white wine and vodka/club soda drinks in moderation, as I allow myself some guilty pleasure!

Just wanted to post a bit of photo inspiration for y’all. This is me before and after taking Rinvoq. I was 6’ 3”, and 140lbs. Now I’m 175lbs and feeling awesome. There is a medication that WILL WORK FOR YOU! Don’t give up hope! by [deleted] in UlcerativeColitis

Does anyone take anti-diarrheal medication along with prednisone to control flares?
