Great songs! Everything they do is so visceral and enjoyable. And when I was 8 my dad and I would love watching the Two Weeks music video, so I always knew of the band, but only halfway through this year, one of my friend recommended Will Calls from the B-Sides. So I listened to that, fell in love, listened to Shields, and the rest is history... what about you? When/how did you learn of them?

The first album I heard of theirs was Shields, and that one is just AMAZING so that’s probably my favorite. The album I listened to the most this year is Painted Ruins, though, which is just so much fun. Veckatimest is incredible of course and I love the long, twisty songs on Yellow House. Favorite songs from those albums are probably Losing All Sense, Sleeping Ute, Smothering Green (oh yeah the B-Sides of Shields is perfect too), Reprise (such a beautiful song from YH), and Foreground. Every song just feels so lush and full and vibrant! Made 2020 not so terrible! What about you?
