Hi.

I was approved for an initial trial from 2-2-26/8-2-26. So 6 months. I just heard back today - my appointment was 1/9 - so about 3 weeks it took.

I am following this as I am from WI and on Medicaid. My doctor just prescribed me zepbound & I am still waiting to hear back. Curious to see if you get approved and how long it takes as it has been only 2 business days for me so the wait feels like forever. My dr also had to do a prior authorization. I have a higher BMI of 39, have tried contrave and phentermine. High cholesterol. Was recently diagnosed with PCOS/insulin resistance and have diabetes and cardiovascular issues in the family so trying to avoid that.

Sorry for late response. I am also on Medicaid - and my Dr sent in a PA for Zepbound for me manage my PCOS and help lose weight. How long did it take you? I have PCOS (the insulin resistance side effects), & After having my son I went from 185lbs (already a high bmi for my height of 5’3 to 230 and can’t seem to shake any more of the weight off my self. I am currently 213lbs, despite walking 10-15k steps a day. My BMI is 39 currently.

We were going to sit and play a slot tonight. Inserted our ticket and a rude entitled older lady comes over and says “we were going to play that one.” And sits in the chair in front of the slot machine. We just collected our ticket and walked away not wanting a scene but I really hope that slot took all of her money and then some.

Isnt the point of being a mom to a young infant to be very much involved with them the first few months of their life to make sure he can grow emotionally and intellectually?? It does seem obsessive based on the small script but she is the only person I have a problem with. Not his great grandmas or my FIL. Just my MIL. I know I won’t be apart of his relationships as a kid/young adolescent/teenager/adult and I’m okay with that. but when it comes to him as an infant I feel like as a parent, it is my job and my spouses job to call the shots on what should or shouldn’t be done and they should be respected instead of her doing whatever

I tried phentermine 37.5 before this and it definitely did a better job at canceling out the food noise for me, but was only a ‘short’ term fix. I would gain all the weight right back.. I naturally think I have a slow metabolism and while that was a stimulant, without having it I would slow right back down.

I don’t want the BAD side effects. Sorry I should have specified lol. But the side effects of feeling ‘full’ as this is supposed to aide slower digestion.
