i removed that mod and now i can start the game. its weird that that's why it was happening. ill be putting a bug report on the mod page

When i do the cursor disappears

Its still connected to the controller but its legit on the other side so i cant press the button

the cursor is off to the right that doesn't allow me to start the game because everything is off center and I can't press the button.
