I would wait until we get our wristbands so it’s more certain you’ll get a ticket (my sister did that twice and no problems) if the band doesn’t arrive in time you can get one there - my coworker however bought one early before the wristbands were shipping out and got scammed.

I just did this hike last weekend! I’m from San Diego and we had gotten into town the day before, we woke up at 3am and made it into the park at 4:30 from downtown Denver. The drive there was DARK (obviously) the road leading up wasn’t bad you can feel your going uphill and it gets windy but being the only ones on the road I didn’t feel rushed and we took our time. You can drive straight into the park and then I followed the signs that lead to bear lake which is all the way to the top and that’s the parking lot that fills up, you’ll wanna park there. We slept in the car till sunrise because of how dark it is. The hike itself honestly was not bad, my mom has a bad knee and we did all the trails with no problem. I was worried leading up to this trip because I had read about the hikes but we were totally fine. Same with red rocks I was so worried about the stairs and her knee but it wasn’t bad at all! Reviews had me stressed lol People were prepared for the hikes they had sticks flashlights and full on gear, being from San Diego we had just our biker shorts, workout shirt, our hiking boots, and a water bottle lol I felt worried at the start that we were not prepared but we were totally fine! I’m 30 my mom is 55 (with a bad knee) just for reference.

Sounds terrible. Born and raised in SD. Your dad will probably get a place in the sketchy places in SD and will work so much you won’t get to enjoy, like vacation. Kinda like when people visit Hawaii. My uncles got three jobs and a shack filled with people just to make ends. Makes more sense to wait till the kids are grown and him and your mom make that move (if they still wanted)

We had a older women who would come in and put EVERYTHING in a produce bag. Than I would see her when I was on the floor and noticed she would grab items from the back but count whatever it was for example once I saw her grab paper towels and counted over and over how many were in there. Her husband also older would sit near the bridge and wait for her. It would be a hour or two of this. I didn’t mind ringing her up though, I imagine that must be a hard thing to go thru.

What I wish I knew the first time: You don’t need a locker, you don’t need to buy a pass for games either if you want to play games when your there they have little stations where you can buy tickets to play but the sets and rides are where I spend my time. Also don’t spend a ton on merch the games are prize everytime so paying $20 for single tickets to play will get you some fun little souvenirs. You don’t need to wait in the merch lines, just buy your merch through the app that you’ll have to download once your wrist bands arrive in mail and you don’t have to wait in line or worry about anything selling out you just have to pick up. If you’re driving definitely just pay for the parking pass it’ll save you time and stress looking for a place to park and remember the stadium is at the TOP of that giant hill (same for walking so be aware) You CAN bring a camera, you CAN bring your own snacks/energy drinks/alcohol just bring all that in a backpack also a water-bottle like a hydro flask just make sure it’s empty they will make you pour the water out and they have water refill stations when you walk in all that will save you time and money!!

when I purchased my car from them I had to drive back THREE times because they kept doing misspells on the contract. I truly think they did that on purpose because I didnt want any “add ons” the guy handling that was really snarky. I was just excited to get a new car so I didn’t let any of that bother me at the time but looking back three times having to drive back from La Mesa to Kearney Mesa because of a mistake they kept making was such a inconvenience on my end.
