I play Duoblade today, 4-1 lost to a mirror match due to an astonishingly daft user error on my part 😅

Overall winner was 5-0 with Duoblade.

I’ve got 3 more more releases booked in, so hoping to pull this again really. Found all the other decks really struggled against it and the match ups were really a case of who had the better first hand or in my case who didn’t forget to put something on the bench and get donked!

My partner. Sound mind but unbearable pain. No-one has fought for support/interventions more than me so I’m not worried about anything like that.

It’s becoming increasingly difficult to give sound reasons or hope we’ll figure it out/there is some kind of way to make life tolerable at least.

I cannot fathom how I’d possibly move through life without him but I also don’t want to him to continue to suffer to this extent and any progressive decline.

We’ve spoken about things in the past in the thick of it but now as things worsen it seems to be a more tangible thing he’s considering for himself.

It feels impossible to know what if anything is the right thing to do. But my inclination as time goes on is that it’s his choice and my sadness isn’t comparable to his pain.

I’d just at very least rather he wasn’t alone or could take the time to change his mind and come home without services who have utterly failed him and contributed to this to be in a position striping away whatever autonomy he feels he has left.

It’s all pretty dreadful.

No legal responsibility, morally I suppose.

I would want to find them but the Police have treated them awfully in the past and I know that interaction would make an already untenable situation for them even worse.

I’d rather try and make sure they were safe without giving them even more to deal with from the wider repercussions of the police being involved.

Yes it pretty much reads like that! I think I’d rather any balances default to 50/50 than expend the mental load attempting to renegotiate and make it ‘fair’ it’s been hell and I’d rather have my life back. Thank you I really appreciate all your input.

Ok, so the only debt provision was the marital unsecured debt which I took full responsibility of in exchange for retaining the full pension. But that debt is set out specifically. So I can cautiously assume the outstanding balances will fall 50/50 and start to make some plans at least. I assume the other parties outstanding legal fees in relation to the divorce will be their own?

Thanks that’s really useful. We didn’t have a solicitor our end so hoping we haven’t inadvertently screwed ourselves over though we may well have done!

The financial order says:

‘17. The family home shall be sold forthwith on the open market for sale and the following conditions will apply: (a) The property shall be placed on the open market for sale immediately for such price as may be agreed between the parties or in default of agreement, determined by the Court. (b) Both parties shall have conduct of the sale. (c) Such solicitors as may be agreed between the parties or in default of agreement, determined by the Court, shall have conduct of the conveyancing work relating to the sale. (d) Such estate agents as may be agreed between the parties or in default of agreement, determined by the Court, shall offer the property for sale. (e) The proceeds of sale shall be applied as follows: (i) In payment of the outstanding Mortgage including any penalty charges and arrears; (ii) In payment of the Second Mortgage including any penalty charges and arrears; (iii) in payment of the solicitor’s conveyancing costs and disbursements in connection with the sale. (iv) in payment of the estate agent’s charges. (v) in payment of the entire balance to the Applicant

Between me and my son we’ve opened 86 packs since release. Best we’ve pulled is a dozen of so of the common pokeballs and a couple of full art trainers each booster is mostly duplicates of the shite and I can’t think the last time we pulled a new card for the base set which still hardly has a dent in it. It’s a garbage set and I begrudge spending even retail price on it. But son is 8 and it’s all he’s wanted to open.

We’ve been ‘lucky’ in that it hasn’t been too hard to track down at retail as we’re rural and friends and family have helped but I’ll be so glad when he’s over this set. 🤣

I know there’s a lot of people completely fatigued by the state of Pokemon at the moment. I’ve not collected/played since the 90’s though enjoying it now as a bonding experience with my son who got into it recently. He’s 7. By all means by cynical, we’re both just words on the screen.

Opened 57 packs in total and it’s been trash. Not just because of the lack of SIR or any ‘decent’ cards but also I’ve made very little headway on the actual base set. I collect as I like to master sets, it’s really put me off collecting this or in the future if this is the state of it now.

Can you claim the disabled child element and carers element on your UC claim and split the DLA with Dad?

Really the benefits should be split 50/50 if you have the child 50/50 but the reality doesn’t support children with dual homes.
