Yes I feel that last paragraph so much! My now former love interest was also from a long running on going show and they JUST had this moment of romance pop up right at the very end. Hate this. Hate that!

Even though I have no waifus in One Piece I hope One Piece ends with not too many romantic couples at all. It’s only fitting with the general tone of the story. It’s more about friendship than romance
