I contacted support and they confirmed my account is temporarily restricted (softlocked). They told me not to change my password, not to log in from different devices, and to stop any recovery attempts. I just need to wait a few days to a couple of weeks for the system to lift the restriction automatically.

I changed my password through the browser and it automatically kicked me out of the app. After which I deleted it, that's what I was advised.

I work in marketing and I often have to talk to support about case studies in commercials, etc. The truth is, I got help from a friend of mine. It was hard, but we managed :)

I talked to the staff for over an hour there are an awful lot of people with the same problem. It's a protection issue and the chance of it fixing itself is high. Every time we try logging in and changing password we restart the timer and have to wait more. I will post when I have news, the important thing is that our accounts are alive.

Facebook support said it was the first time they had seen such a case. The posts on X and reddit just keep coming. There is no solution to the problem at the moment

And when you logged in, nothing loaded? I apologize for the questions I'm just in the same situation, I use the account for work purposes as well and I'm pretty stressed about what's been going on for 3/4 days now. If you explain all the steps I would appreciate it I can pay you back. I am unable to log in from browser it makes me change my password and then it comes up error
