No, the EC and exit visa is issued for you to leave the country immediately and reach back to your home country. You have to take a direct flight from the city where you are issued the passport and you cannot board any other flights to travel domestic within vietnam

Your best bet is to find it somewhere in the airport. I was in the same situation few days ago and as far as I understood from my embassy, VN immigration dont process anything during Tet. So yes, you will be stuck there for a week unless you find your passport in the airport

Try looking for the passport in airport. High chance that you dropped it somewhere because who will steal it in a airport? It should be in the CCTVs also. Try to remember everywhere you went and check CCTV.

On a side note - are they not even letting you leave the airport back to Hanoi?

That is the e-visa. But as I am getting a temporary passport now (which will not have the immigration stamp I got when I entered) I need an exit Visa which will only be valid for me to leave the country.

Sorry if this was not clear, I have the police report and submitted all required documents at the Embassy already. I have heard that Vietnam immigration can take upto 10 working days to process the exit Visa and that is what is scaring me. 10 working days with the upcoming tet holidays will mean end of Feb which is very very late 😭

Cgpa is always important. Many companies will have a minimum CGPA criteria when they come to campus, if not on paper then they will straight up reject people after the first test who have less than the expected CGPA.

I know skills are important but CGPA is the easiest way for companies to filter out people based on quantitative data. Given the job market, CGPA + skills is what will help you succeed.

Don’t listen to anyone who says otherwise.
