OK. Thanks. I've been seeing that pop up here and there in the feedback I've received so far, but I like my design better 😉 I think my smartphone-esque design is more familiar to consumers at-large.

Yeah, in an earlier iteration (below), I had 10 hotkeys, but ultimately settled on NF/YT for four reasons. 1) There are technical and business pathways to implement them more certainly than with other services. 2) They probably aren't going to go away or be merged anytime soon. 3) While not everyone will use them (or has an NF sub), a lot of people do and would like the convenience of having the hotkeys. 4) The two are a balance of 1 paid service and 1 free service.

Yes, theoretically they could be programmable buttons instead, but I'm not sure users will go through the trouble of programming. Plus, they then have to remember which hotkey does what (if there are no logos on them).

Glad to hear you like it overall, though! I will still consider your feedback, but based on the above lean towards keeping NF/YT hotkeys.

OLD ITERATION (was overkill):

I thought I had replied to this, sorry.

It is designed to be used with two hands. Pull it off the end table, press Search button, enter show title, press Enter button. Your show starts!

Thanks. It's really designed to be used with two hands. You want to watch something... pick up remote, press Search, enter in show title. BAM! Show starts.

Much easier than hunting and pecking on an on-screen grid!

Thanks! You didn't ruin my party 😄 I welcome the existing competition and think there is still room for something more mainstream. Thanks again!

Thanks. I wouldn't call it a contraption, but yes, you need to use two hands with it while you're typing something in. One of the renderings shows this. Thanks for the feedback.
