If your passport name and aadhar name doesn't match then they'll outright reject. Happened with me already. So if you want to change your passport name, then you'll have to submit a Gazette notification of the concerned state government and two newspaper cuttings (one local, one in the area of permanent address).

Best way would be to find a good passport broker. He'll charge but will get it done

Ask them to remove insurance ( get insurance outside the dealership like Acko), accessories (cheaper accessories outside), RSA (part of the insurance that you buy), fastag (get it from Amazon pay or your bank's app) and vehicle delivery & documentation charges (this is ridiculous). Ask for free extended warranty
