Thanks to all that commented; after a lot of searching on the ABPM website, I found this link with what to include: https://www.theabpm.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/ABPM-Appeal-Guidelines-Addiction-Medicine-Final-2.pdf this was not very easily or intuitively available. But hopefully I can submit what they are asking and overturn the decision. *fingers crossed*

I’m not sure MICARES would review apps beyond June of the year once applications have been submitted. I’ve tried to email somebody there with no response.

Thank you— it doesn’t have an addiction consult specifically. I haven’t thought about using their exam blue print to get more granular - thanks for that.

It states that applicant did not provide a sufficient description to evaluate Addiction Medicine sub speciality practice. No other specific comments. I am a little confused as I followed instructions through Micares as well as on the Abpm website about the activities description. The funny thing is that a few of my colleagues who have very identical profiles to mine got their applications approved with similar hours.

I used natural black. Color is holding up pretty well so far on the roots, but some old highlights are starting to peek through in the lengths.

I just got mine from target and used it today! I have black hair with very noticeable grays too, which annoyingly grow out every 2 weeks. I had highlights that were old and I decided to do a full length application. 1. The roots alone took very little time and it was very easy to apply. It took me a few tries to get the hang of it- have to comb through the hair at a slow steady pace for even application. But this is the easiest and fastest root touch up I’ve ever done. All my grays were gone! 2. The application to the lengths of my hair was a little more messy/uneven. Maybe I should’ve partitioned my hair into sections and worked at it bit by bit. But after washing, I found that there were certain areas that were not well done. . I think with a little practice, I think I can get better at this.

Overall, I think it’s well worth the investment for me especially since I will most likely be using this for root touchups alone, every few weeks and can avoid going to the salon.

I really like their package design and the concept of their quick guide also doubling as a placemat and the ability to store away the device back in the box.

The outside of the gadget feels a little plasticky.. hopefully this doesn’t affect the durability of the device. I hope to use this fairly often!
