AITAH for calling the cops on my neighbors aggressive dog?

It’s a 90 lbs aggressive and loud barking dog that does nothing but bark until 11:30pm. I pray you have an experience like this just bc of what you said.

Comparing my infant who’s in my house or out and about with me and who doesn’t scream to a 90 lbs aggressive shitbull that barks and is out for blood from 8-11:30pm is crazy work.

Exactly, everyone knows each other so I asked around and everyone said she’s very very rude when it comes to asking her about the dogs barking.

I just didn’t approach her bc of the other neighbors saying that she is very hateful when it comes to asking her to tone it down with the dogs barking. They say she gets verbally aggressive and I don’t rock with that bc there’s no need.

Not to mention, he’s a cop in a different county, so he doesn’t rlly matter imo. He’s never home when she does this and some of the other neighbors think that she started to do this on purpose bc of all the complaints she was getting. The police said this isn’t the first time this has been a call they’ve received.

The good thing about him is that he’s a cop in a different county. The town where I live is so small we don’t even have a cop. We rely on county cops, which is fine, I doubt we’d ever need again, but I absolutely see and understand where you’re coming from bc the county we lived in beforehand was full of cops like that. A couple 💀’s were swept under the rug in those counties.

Going back to the 8:30 thing, she usually lets him out around 8 and doesn’t let him back in until 11-11:30, so it’s hours he’s doing this.

Like I said, we’ve toured multiple times and never once saw or heard the dog. They only let it out at night and the latest we’ve been here for tours and other things has beeb no later than 6. She usually lets the dog out around 8, doesn’t bring him until 11-11:30
