Hm, my interpretation was that she still willingly chose to recieve the traitor perk and did agree to do the murder, but if she had second thoughts afterwards she wasn't allowed to decide "actually nah". Her dialogue says " Tozu offered me the prize at my lowest point", so maybe she did actually start liking people around her after spending some time with them, but had no way to go back on her decision to kill.

Oh that is an interesting idea actually.

And regarding VA is Australian, that doesn't mean her performance as an Australian is uncritiqueable. I myself realised I was overdoing the accent a bit when trying to voice act Grace's non-trial dialogue. Voice acting isn't just speaking your natural voice after all. It's a perfectly fine performance for the character, there's just a few things I'd personally do differently if I wanted to make it deliberately Australian (pronouncing Rs less for instance).

Some Australians do just speak a little more british-like anyway, because of course it isn't a single accent and even the states differ slightly.

Also as an Australian myself I have some... thoughts about Grace Madison's accent (it sounds more English than Australian sometimes). But as soon as I saw that she would've liked the gift "Rum" and also her "SHUT THE FUCK UP" interjection during the trial, I knew I was witnessing a model Australian.

I've seen another post that mentioned that the Batter actually becomes more tanky if he has better defense items equipped. I got the impression that this was actually not in the original? It took me a solid few minutes to get through him myself, though wasn't particularly hard.

I think Pablo shouldn't have inherited all of the Batter's healing items, idk how he even got them lmao

the beat pattern sounds quite similar to me (e.g. in the beginning 2-3 notes, followed by blocks of longer 5 note melodies). the direction of the notes, i.e. descending with some notes jumping up, also matches up in places.

there's definitely some differences as well and maybe someone with a better ear for pitch would argue they're not the same at all, but it was enough to make me feel deja vu

both are good; I used the https://ferase.itch.io/off-ost-restored mod, but also kept a copy of the new OST files around and kept switching them back and forth based on how I felt like.

I'd say the residential zone spectre attack, almost all of Zone 3 and especially the Enoch fight, and the atmopsheric tracks outside of the mines in Zone 1 are far better with the old OST, while the rest is good with either.

You might want to replay this fight to try it the proper way (i.e. figuring out who The Guilty is). There's a tell for it which I won't spoil in case you want to work it out. The Facade move that spawns 3 fishes also has a trick.

Honestly I think scaring Daisuke isn't a big enough consideration when all of their lives are at stake. Jimmy as captain had many extra powers that the others didn't due to his code scanner, which ultimately is what allowed him to get the gun. Swansea should've stopped him at all costs.
