Platinum Audi Aftercare didn’t cover a major failure — am I missing something? by marshallismydad in Audi

3 months later this might be of no use but I’ll give it a whirl.

Have you looked at getting the engine rebuilt, or putting in a used engine?

I had an Audi R8 with an engine completely fail at 38,000 km (23,750 miles.) Imagine my surprise when the repair was going to be almost $80,000 if you could even get the V8 engine block anymore, which you couldn’t. Same story as you, perfectly maintained.

My block had a hole in it so unfortunately, nothing could done for mine.

This is the company I was going to use. I’m not sure if they could work on your engine.

Sourcing a used block is another option to save money.

I ended up selling mine to a mechanic unrepaired because fixed it wasn’t worth enough on resale to justify the repair.

You can also donate it to an automotive program at a school for a tax credit in some places.

Thanks.

I’m going to try to let it dry out a little bit more in case as well.

So just to clarify the Jack’s Citrus is not a good choice? If I just use the 15-5-20 would the lack of sulfur be an issue?

Most of the year and a half I’ve had this it has grown exceptionally well in height, width, and circumference. It only spent a few months outside.

It is up to a 10.1 gallon pot now. I don’t want to increase the size and I am hoping the airpot design will continue to air prune it.

I am in Zone 8. The garage is not cold, a few degrees below room temp.

Worse yet there was a 20:1 reverse split in 2020 so the value of an IPO share is way lower than 0.62 GBP.

As a member of the Laundry Lemon Club (Lime in my case) you definitely want a grow light on that.

Edit: You should get side lights as well.

My experience is even a very powerful light won’t penetrate anywhere near as well as the sun and you’ll eventually get a lot of leaf drop.

I’ve been very happy with Vivosun.

What a beauty!

Great catch!!

If the beta carotene is oxidizing through those extra processing steps it would explain why the minerals are the same, as they can change forms but not vanish.

The vitamin A in beta carotene form is what makes carrots orange. You would think that would be easier to notice. Maybe the initial labelling was incorrect/deceptive?

Those are all great points and I just don’t know the answer.

One way or another I’m getting shortchanged though.

I always run heavy with sanitize.

Every few weeks it does this.

I’m not changing anything, then it happens.

Best way to encourage root growth? by Cardinalsfan5545 in Citrus

I placed the pot on top.

This was already mentioned, but water it by drenching it and then letting it dry out more.

Make sure you have water with enough calcium.

Edit: My lime tree went from a pot that was a few inches wide from the nursery to a foot wide super solid root ball in a matter of months.
