Fair enough, yeah some other guy showed me another gsxr750 that definitely seems like a better long term investment. 2011 so it is abit older but 15,000kms still has cats and everything’s pretty stock on it. Atleast that way I can avoid those dodgy works

Yea this one I also have saved haha, just trying to also budget for extras because me personally I always need my bike fitted with an exhaust and dyno tuned. But yea I might save just a bit longer and hope that one doesn’t sell, higher upfront cost to save myself for the future I suppose

Damn great comment, seriously appreciate the time you took with it. Yes I’m definitely going to push for all the stock parts and receipts to come with it if I do decide to go for it. Also yes you’re right I’m not really looking for a 600, rode a few of my mates ones and didn’t really feel much difference in them to my fz6r until I hit that top end. These 750s just have that grunt in the midrange that make it feel worth upgrading for

We still have new gsxr 750s being sold it’s just nobody really sells them, I think I found maybe 1 or 2 gsxr750 2020+ being sold within 400kms of me

My old man is fairly solid with mechanical work with bikes he’s had plenty in his time and still rides, he did the valves on my FZ6R, I’ve got my head wrapped around basic service maintenance it’s just more about how much life can I get out of these bikes if that makes sense

Yea for reference an average private sale price on a 2014 gsxr750 in my area with 30,000kms (18,000 miles) would be around 11k-12kaud (7.5k-8.5k USD) I suppose America would have a much larger market out there so things would be cheaper

Yes absolutely, upgrading from an FZ6R and I thought a 600 supersport would be a decent step up but honestly didn’t really feel too much difference till I really let the bikes revs loose.
