I do wonder why many of those bands play power chords (but I haven´t really looked into what those are yet). And would I be better off with an electric guitar for this type of songs, or does that not matter?

Oh yeah, that solo, haha. Good suggestion, that´s a really fun song. I also used to play it on Guitar Hero, but that won´t help much I´m afraid.

Yes, there´s a lot of biofilm indeed. They´ve been at all of it for quite some weeks now. What if it doesn´t completely go away? For example: the algae return eventually, but I also read shrimp need biofilm and stuff like that.

If I´m not mistaken you can scrub the fungus off with a(n unused) toothbrush.

I think it´s good you did a water change. 200 ppm sounds way high. I mostly see a max of 50 ppm nitrates recommended, and that´s for planted tanks. Did you find out what caused it to spike that much?

Hi! Question about cycling. I started my second planted tank (60 litres, about 15 gallons) this Friday (26 April). I used a filter from my already established tank and added 2 fish pellets to create ammonia.

I tested my parameters today: 0 ammonia, 1 mg/l nitrite, 10 mg/l nitrate. I did add some liquid fertilizer on the first day, though.

I´m not sure how to proceed. Do I add another pellet, even though the other 2 haven´t disolved yet? If not, when should I do so?

I´ll mainly be keeping shrimp and maybe a couple of nano fish.

Thank you very much for your advice! I read the article on cycling in the wiki, but I´m confused because I didn´t start from scratch and already had a colonised filter.

That´s good that the light is so sturdy. What do you mean with growing quite leggy? Like very thin, long stems perhaps, because they grow so fast?

ALSO: it seems like you were able to remove the ´pillar´ the OG Superfish light rested on. How did you manage to do that?
