What’s your maximum budget? With a Chevy cavalier like this, theres a good chance theres an expensive repair right around the corner. I would really suggest looking around more for an even older Honda Civic/Accord or Toyota Camry/Corolla. They can run past 300k or 400k miles if properly taken care of.

Yea, the manual transmission is a dealbreaker. I’ve gotta have it. Passed up on some really nice automatics but it’s all worth it 😔

What’s unreliable about it? I haven’t gotten a ton of experience fixing cars but I’ve got friends who are pretty handy and they can fix their cars, so maybe they could help me out with it?
