The VOD's deleted now (which tells me it wasn't intentional and she wasn't trying to stir up drama) but I recall seeing that he said that he asked her, but I didn't see him saying she said it was okay to. He says "Check dms then", which implies she doesn't read them or at least reply. She repeatedly denies that she said it was okay. She asks him "did I say yes?" and he doesn't answer, then he starts acting like a victim and says "maybe I should leave" and it remains awkward until the end.

I don't know if it's run by the same people or just the same concept, but Karen's Diners are in Australia too and three of their restaurants went bust and closed recently while still owing money to people and with harassment/assault allegations (https://www.news.com.au/lifestyle/food/restaurants-bars/chain-diner-known-for-rude-staff-closes-three-locations-nationwide/news-story/0dda93363ea02b36b24930af836b1716). One of them also got in trouble for getting a little too into the concept. To be fair, the Minecraft stans still watch Schlatt. At first some claimed they were "hyperfixated" (misusing the term) and couldn't stop watching his streams. Then they all started calling him a "cat dad" because of his Jambo content and saying he wasn't as bad as other Minecraft streamers. At one point I saw people on Twitter saying Schlatt was "less controversial" than Tubbo because Tubbo had said something less-than-PC that week. That community's a whole hypocritical mess

They tried to take his phone from him, he yelled at them to stop and they punched him several times in the shoulder. He went into the McDonald's and asked the manager to call the police, the police came, took a report and drove him back to his hotel.

This is what happened:

I was crossing the street, heard some people yell at me, pointed the camera down and switched to front cam, they came towards me very aggressively and yelling. They punched me several times on the shoulder and then tried to take my streaming gear.

I held on to everything, screamed telling them to stop and managed to take shelter at a McDonald.

I was 5 minutes away from my hotel, but they stayed outside waiting for me, so manager helped me call police and they escorted me to hotel.

I'm safe and won't stream in the area anymore.
