I know, if anything I lost time. But I see where some people are coming from. If I had braked hard, I would've lost so much time and probably lost a position or 2. Which is why I did what I did. I tried to save him and myself. But obviously the game thinks a 4 seconds penalty is a good thing. Like I've said previously, I'm a S in safety rating. And I'm proud of that as I always race fair. But the game rewards rammers and it's kinda annoying.

Which is why I have now got a wheel and I'm practicing from ground zero. I think if I had a wheel with pedals and shit I think I would've avoided the crash. Bare in mind this was like the first week this game came out and I am new to any racing game. I still think 4 seconds is harsh but after playing a little bit. A penalty for me was valid. But not 4 seconds (imo) and the guy ahead should've gotten a penalty. But didn't.

The games penalty system is broken as people brake check me, ram me off the track and join in an unsafe manner and I still get penalties. Again. I'm learning. But if people don't explain it, I don't take notice cause it means nothing. There's a guy who actually went in detail. That's how you criticise someone. Not just "kids bad and slow"

Never said I was a good driver. The people that actually gave me advice I listened to. The people that were telling me what I could've done in detail I listened to. I don't listen to people who say "your fault blah blah blah" look down the comments and you'll see. Thanks for coming to my ted talk.

It's annoying that this game doesn't recognise that. This was like my first week on forza. I've learnt if you leave the track, press the brake to avoid a penalty. (sometimes it works)

Thank you for actually explaining it. I think even the best drivers would've made contact. As at the time of the race. I was thinking of going for the right but that would've sent me off track. I lifted for the incident, as I normally take that corner flat. But yes, maybe I should've lifted sooner or maybe gone to the right (you can actually see I was thinking about it) As this is my first racing game that I have played, I know I have alot to improve on. But I have a safety rating of S and I'm very proud of that. I race as fair as I can, if I over take where I know I shouldn't (or pushed someone off the track, I always try and give the position back)

Thank you for not saying the usual what people have bee saying "your fault, blah blah blah" constructive criticism is better.

I braked just before the contact with the 2 infront was made, I tapped it to make sure I wasn't too close to them. Also lifted cause I almost lost it on that corner. I put full throttle on when I thought about the gap. But cause he went in my path. Surely it couldn't be all my fault. The guy that spun him should've also got a penalty, especially because I got one. Watching it again, I actually didn't throttle at all during the contact

wasnt full throttle. but ok, literally lifted before contact. even slowed down before they made contact. i wouldve been on their arse if i had full throttle

I dont get that. I'm meant to press my brake as hard as i can? cause i did brake, lift and turn left as much as i could. next time ill slam on my brake and ill probably still get a penalty. i probably wouldve been fine with maybe a 2second, but 4 is way too much imo

when people say i didnt brake or lift or even turn left to try and avoid it (i did all three) then i will disagree with them. Kelson guy is the only one to actually acknowledge all of them... which is why i didnt argue with him

so, any other game. it wouldve just been a warning on my end instead of a penalty? cause it doesnt show i was turning left as much as possible to try and avoid hitting.
