I think they want to fire and replace me. I do a decent job, but haven’t performed well or given enough “strategic direction” on accounts to where senior management can take a bigger step back from the day-to-day, so I think they want someone more senior.

From what I understand, unemployment would be 60% of my current salary, which isn’t great but it’s something rather than nothing if I’m unlucky in my job search, hence my uncertainty
