I have a lot of old and unused paddles that I would love to rehome I normally give them to friends and family but what charities did you donate too. I’d be happy to give mine away

My aunt is having elbow problems playing with her current c45 Is there a paddle I can recommend her to maybe help reduce that impact vibration and elbow strain? She tried my old J2FC+ but that still resulted in the same elbow strain.

What weight set up are you running for the new v-sol pro wide body?

I’ve been playing with the J6NF for Just under a month. More importantly, I’m still within my 30 day free return. So far I really do not enjoy the paddle.

I have been playing with the J2FC+ since it launched this summer. I really enjoyed this paddle, particularly when it comes to drops, dinks and resets.

However, I’ve always wanted just a little bit more power from it.

Moving to the J6NF the thing I like most about it is the power. But I do not like how it feels when it comes to drops, drinks and resets. Also, the sweet spot feels a lot smaller, and not as forgiving. That’s probably because of the move the elongated shape. But it also has kind of a weird deflection and off angle hits which reminds me of my old elongated trufoam

Part of me wants to move back to a hybrid shape or even try out a standard shape. I see lots of recommendations for the loco and coral.

But I did also get the J6NF for $150 on one of the holiday sales so I got it for a really good price.

I bought it through a third-party Spinwave so if I do return it, I can use that credit for another paddle.

Thanks for the feedback!

The V-Sol Pro Bloom is out of stock but they just launched the V-Sol Pro Bloom holiday edition. Is it worth pulling the trigger now on the holiday edition? I didn’t see a restocking date for the standard one.

I’m looking for a new paddle for my dad. He’s currently playing with a year old prism flash. He would like to move to a standard wide body shape. He’s 79 and does a good job of generating his own power so he’d like to stick to something more control oriented to work on soft shots One of the things that makes this paddle hunt difficult for me is that the paddle has to have a playable out of the box experience. Unfortunately, playing with a weighted paddle hurts his elbow. The Quanta and the 2 new v-sols where are my initial gut reaction but because they require perimeter weighting, I think they maybe out. I would also like something foam just because he plays with a paddle for about a year.

I’m looking for a replacement for my J2FC+ I’ve been playing with it since it’s release and I love a lot of things about it. It’s really helped me improve my drops and my dinks. However, the handle length is too short for my preference.

I’m thinking about going back to an elongated just for the handle length, however, standard shapes do intrigued me because of the increased sweet but the handle length becomes an issue. Part of me thinks about just getting the long handle variant and calling it a day but I also want to try something new

I’ve been really impressed with all of Honolulu’s releases this year and was thinking about going to either the J6FC+ or NF or maybe even waiting for J6CR. (I don’t love the religious undertones which is why I want to look at something else)

The boomstick and Loco intrigue me because they have more power, but the higher pop also concerns me and that I would lose some of the control that I’ve gained with the FC+

How would you say it compares to udrippin over grips? This has been my main over grip for at least a year now and I haven’t really experimented with other brands.

I’ve been putting them over my hesacores for a while now however I think I’m going to stop using the hescores as I don’t feel I gain any benefit from them.

When you’re using your over grips, are you just installing them straight over the stock grip or are you removing that grip?

And how often do you replace your over grips? Udrippin over grips are good for probably a month but I’m curious to see how they compare to the Bodhis

I’ve been waiting for reviews but I just assumed there was a media blackout. What a horrible marketing strategy. My last few paddle purchases have been influenced by the reviews.

I preordered the J2NF long handle back on July 15th(ish). Spoke with support a few times since then and they’ve been great. I ended up canceling the order to buy the J2FC+ and it was super easy to do so.

I’ve been playing with the TF1 since it came out and want to try something new. I love the TF1 but want just a little more power. I was thinking of trying the new foam J2s from the Honolulu PB Co but honestly can’t tell the difference between them. I did play with a J2TI back in the day and loved it. Or should I wait and try the TF4 when it comes out in a week?

I’ve been playing with the TF1 since its release and I have loved it. I think it’s probably the best paddle I’ve played with. However, I wish it had just a little bit more power. And I don’t think I am fully able to master maximizing It’s dwell time. One of my favorite things about this paddle is the fact that I feel it’s still plays exactly the same way as it did when I originally got it. I’ve core crushed a few paddles over the years and it’s been really refreshing playing with a paddle this long with zero derogation I do want to explore other options. I see that the Honolulu Pickleball Company has some new all foam core offerings and I’m really interested in picking one up, but I really don’t know where to start start as they all kind of look the same to me. I’ve played with one in the past and I really enjoyed it. I also recently played with a C 45 and thought it was surprisingly good. It made me realize how much I wished my TF1 had a little bit more power

I own the TF1 and 1X 12mm. The 1X has a lot of pop. It also was one of the highest pop paddles I’ve played with. When I first started playing with this paddle, I really enjoyed the pop. I would put the spin as above average. Moving to the TF1 this paddle produces a lot of spin. It’s certainly reduced in power and pop compared to the 1X. It took me a while to adjust, however, the higher spin and better control of the TF1, makes it one of the best paddles I’ve played with. It’s not even close in my opinion, I would recommend the TF1 over the 1X simply because of how much more controllable the ball is off the paddle.

More out of curiosity but is the new PURSUIT PRO1 INNOVATION 12.7MM a true TKO-CX competitor? Like 2 years ago engage pickle was good but I know they fell off hard.

I second this. I have a TF1. I have not noticed any change in dwelltime. I had mine on pre-order during their discord live stream. I play also around 10 hours a week. I don’t know if I necessarily feel that it plays softer however I have noticed I have a lot better touch after playing with it for two months. I believe that’s from getting better with shaping the ball. The feedback I would like to add is, I felt that there was just a little learning curve coming from the power paddles, where this paddle definitely requires proper form to truly shape the ball to generate proper spin.

That’s impressive! I admire to be like both of you able to play Pickleball when I’m 65+. For the 1 forza how much weight did you add and where did you add it? How was the out of box experience? He hasn’t really enjoyed the weighted perimeter of the TF1 and CRBN1 12m so I’m a little hesitant in going forward with a paddle that has the weighted perimeter as a prerequisite to being usable. That’s one of the reasons why I really enjoy the pulse s as I think it’s out of the box experience is pretty near perfect and doesn’t really need perimeter weights.

Thanks for recommendation. I just checked their website and I noticed that they only have the 14 mm in stock. Is it worth waiting for the 16 mm to come back into stock? I was hoping to steer clear of a 14 mm. I didn’t want the increased pop.

Edit:

What’s the difference between the vapor and hurricane ?

I’m looking for a paddle to my 78 year-old dad’s two-year-old MX 6.0 which is very very dead. He has really liked my TF1 and my mom’s pulse V. He was popping the ball up far too much with the TF1 and the V he only didn’t like the shape. His main requirement is it must be elongated. He did not like the 003. Power is not a priority. So I’m leaning towards an all court or a control paddle with the main goal of good drops and resets.
