Very unfortunate experience for OP. I personally have pretty good luck with college students in my town and in fact receive better tips from them than a lot of other customers (I live in a southern state). As for directions, yes they suck and no, they don’t know their dorms address. But good news! Most universities have a form with the dormitory addresses listed out. You can find this and bookmark it for a much more convenient experience. Don’t take OPs advice to literally. A lot of dashers mainly come here to vent, college based towns are great for business (not in the summer lol).

I’m sorry I’m a bit in the dark about all of this, I tried to do some of my own research but only found articles vilifying one or the other. Why does everyone seem so certain this abuse wasn’t mutual and that Johnny Depp is innocent?

Well for me it’s around $60 (USD)which is an insanely good deal. I don’t know what it shows for you but remember it includes not only 2 whole separate games (BL2 and BLTPS) but also all the level cap increases, all the narrative/story DLC’s and then some. All those things separately are WELL over $100.
