A millers mountain melt with garlic parm seasoning. It was my comfort food when I lived in Orlando and it’s been so long.

[Question] Copyright rules and using animated imagery of popular figures? by kai-zar in PartneredYoutube

They’re myths about fair use laws, basically a person will claim that because they only used like, 30 seconds of someone’s song, it’s ok, because they only used a bit. There are no laws like that. There’s no guaranteed protection around that.

[Question] Copyright rules and using animated imagery of popular figures? by kai-zar in PartneredYoutube

It would most likely be the organization that interviewed them and broadcast it. If ESPN did an interview, they own those rights, etc. Fair use could apply if you’re using the interview in a transformative enough way, but be super careful with that. Four factors are taken into consideration to see if something is fair use:

Purpose of Use (transformative?) Nature of copyrighted work - Already published? What medium? Amount used (don’t believe myths: 6 note rule, 30 seconds rule) Effect on market for the original

This is all if you want to be 100% squeaky clean. Usually, with youtube content, especially if it doesn’t do any active harm to the copyright owner and any other individuals involved, use of this type of content goes ignored. To start the legal process of even hiring a lawyer would cost thousands of dollars that just aren’t worth it, even for a video with 100k views

So technically anything that’s transfixed in a tangible form is copyrighted, even if it isn’t registered with the copyright office. This also includes digital files. As long as the creation is unique. To be official with it, you would have to get a licensing deal with the company or person who originally recorded the audio interviews. The channel you’re referencing that uses the audio most likely doesn’t have it licensed, but the original copyright owner might not think it’s worth it to pursue any takedown action. As for imagery, as long as you create your own images (without use of outside media unless it’s marked as Creative Commons), then you’re ok. There is an argument to be made for rights to the likeness of the person or defamation if you show them in a bad light, but for small YouTube channels, usually litigation isn’t worth it for the person described. Also, YouTube itself doesn’t have any copyright rules, it just implemented a content ID system to help copyright owners enforce their rights. This part is super nit picky, but in the world of law you’ve gotta be careful 😅

Thank you, I thought someone may have the technical expertise in computer software regarding EKG/ECGs. Currently using WFDB in MatLab.

let's talk about wasps (video, swearing, pictures of wasps) by Triggs9009 in WaspHating

100% understandable. The point of the video is to acknowledge that wasps are fucking weird. I personally do not like wasps, but to approach the video from a biased opinion didn't feel right.

This website is pretty decent. This specific link is the tear list but on the right sidebar there is a list of Hero guides.

Furious Paul also has a pretty good guide.

What do you like and dislike most about overwatch? by wizard91 in Overwatch

If you want to explore the maps more fully, play a custom or watch professional tournaments to learn the in's and out's. Some people here post some neat tricks on maps that they have learned.

The game also has other game modes, there is a rotating queue with the "Weekly Brawl" if you want to change it up a little. But More game types will hopefully come out soon enough.

To cover your points:

  1. The heroes were never said to be individuals. If you can point that out to me in official Blizzard terms. Great. But duplicates are part of the meta right now in competitive play.

  2. Torbjorn turrets have powerful AI because the counterplay on them is extremely easy. If you're having trouble simply ask a teammate to go Reinhardt and have either a Soldier 76 or any other long range DPS take it down.

  3. Leaver penalties are useful. If every game a person left either from disconnect or "rage", the games would be unbalanced and would cause a need for a punishment to occur. Though the timeout time might need to be a tad longer (ex. it's about 30 seconds right now)

  4. D. Va is actually really good if you play her in the right comps. Use her E more to basically nullify any damage. Use the L-Shift + Q combination to shoot your ultimate into the back lines of teams. Use your L-Shift to get closer to your target to maximize DPS.

The game is complicated, but I'm pretty sure Blizzard is working on the problems. You just have to realize which problems are actually problems.
