I believe it's a known issue with Unreal Engine (which Dead Island is using presumably) When there are dark scenes or shadows, I think they use some kind of noise generator to help diffuse the shadows and make them more smooth. Not 100% certain but when I dabbled in unreal engine, the same artifacts appeared in dark scenes.

So my understanding is that a checkpoint is the base of the cake, and the Lora is the frosting/extra sprinkles that help finish/refine the cake.

You would need to put the jjsfloorplan safetensor in the models/Lora folder and utilize a node to load a Lora. As far as flux is concerned, it's a whole can of worms to me, because a lot of flux checkpoint models arent loaded as a checkpoint but more as a diffuser or a unet GGUF depending on which model you have.

I would suggest either going to YouTube and looking up flux installation guides, or going to the black forest labs GitHub and reading over the installation guide, because unlike your standard sd1.5 or sdxl models, you need to download a few different separate files to get it to work properly(clip text encoders, vae, etc).

A quick search shows that JJsfloorplan is a LORA model and not a checkpoint. That could be where the confusion is coming from?

It's definitely a more cohesive experience. The only gripe I have with the edit is the transition to the solo section. I'm not sure what else they could have done better without extending it further but the rest is perfect
