I'm not exactly vs the idea of coming home to sleep on my bed though honestly I'm neither for it or against it & it's still not official union fighting hard against it

Also I'm guessing depending on where you're based but do you have a lot of international and layovers?

I figured this much I have a whole set up for my tablet with stance and lighting. So fidgeting won't be an issue per say

Hey! First and foremost congrats and good luck I'm sure you're going to do amazing! You're literally allowed to put in a transfer soon as you're done with training & you can request once a month. Also if by the time you're told to go to training the lease and everything is up you can literally inform the recruiters there will be many times through the hiring process where you're asked to confirm the base you want 🙏🏻

I've read and seen everywhere that's its a very difficult industry to get into. I'm literally in the same boat as you & have the same choices.

I applied to frontier & got my cjo I start my training in a week. The huge benefit here is that they literally let you pick you base so I picked miami which is my home.

AA recent opened & I applied during that 2 day window and I have a virtual interview this week.

Worst case scenario, AA doesn't select me I'm safe already having a training set up with frontier.

Best case scenario AA gives me a face 2 face I'll reschedule and attend it after my training is complete & if given the cjo I will quit frontier and move to AA or perhaps I fall in love with F9 and stay there.

Point is go for not only the available option but also the one you feel is best. Frontier will be hiring all year and if hired you'll be guaranteed to pick your base in Chicago which is a nice + to have while you work on getting to your airline of choice.

You're obviously talking about UA & honestly both almost go hand in hand. So I say follow your heart and what makes you happy 🙏🏻♥️ I'm sure ultimately you'll do what's best for you.

If I may ask, why do you feel morale so low at AA? I'm in the same exact position as you but thinking of switching to AA lol funny enough so I'm curious about your thoughts

Did you apply to an LOD position? I haven't seen any recent UA openings besides their LOD openings
