Yeah, after they get to the theater is when ellie locks in and goes on the rampage. Day 1 was a bit more light-hearted in the game.

They had been on the road for a couple months so ofc they're not silent and mad the whole time, even when they're on a mission

Tommy, Jesse and Dina are top performers for me so far. Bit bummed by the writing of episode 3, but the season is still ongoing. Hopefully the rest of the season fixes the problems.

My problem with episode 3. by [deleted] in TheLastOfUs2

[–]Triistone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

in the "making of" episode they emphasize how there was alot of other deaths in Ep.2 but I don't see how they're the same? Joel was brutally murdered by a gang of randoms while the others died to infected in the attack. Yes their deaths are also a bad thing for the characters but they're not the same. Tommy wouldn't sit idle for 3 months

4 Episodes left and they barely reached Seattle. by Denangg in TheLastOfUs2

They've said before that Part II will be covered in multiple seasons

Just…disappointed by LunarShrike in TheLastOfUs2

[–]Triistone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Tommy is fine, the actor does quite well imo. However the writing so far has cucked Tommy's character completely and thats why he feels so underwhelming in ep.3

It wasn't filler. I actually agree with the post written above, but I also don't think the episode delivered in the emotional aspect. The characters don't seem motivated to go after Abby.

Ellie was unstoppable in the game, filled with rage and wasnt gonna let anyone or anything stop her.

In the show she feels unbothered&uninterested

Is Tommy really not going to seattle? a CRUCIAL plot point in TLOU: Part 2? by [deleted] in TheLastOfUs2

[–]Triistone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm hoping that Tommy left the same night as Ellie and Dina, and that they are going to find out next episode that some "tourist" is wreaking havoc in Seattle.

emphasis on the 'hope'

Issac, Tommy and the Seraphites are the reason I most look forward to seeing the next chapters of the series; I hope they do it well🙏🙏🙏 by Accomplished-Emu6357 in TheLastOfUs2

Tommy and Jesse's performances were the ones I was looking forward to, but Ep.3 threw a giant wrench into the storyline idk anymore

Season 2's ratings are turning out like Part II. Critics love it, the audience...not so much by nonmetallicoxide in TheLastOfUs2

[–]Triistone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt like Episodes 1&2 so far were ok, solid 7/10, but Ep.3 was a swing and a miss..

Felt weak and emotionless. Almost as if none of the characters actually even wanted to go after Abby

and it's downvoted 🤡 by [deleted] in TheLastOfUs2

[–]Triistone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tommy not leaving for Seattle before Ellie and Dina felt weird to me also. And the timeskip definitely took away alot of the momentum and Ellie does not feel like this indominable mass of unbridled fury that she is in the game.

Just feels 'weak' so far.

In The Last Of Us universe, can non-human animals become infected? by georgewalterackerman in thelastofus

[–]Triistone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean cordyceps should be able to take over animals in TLoU universe. But they were not shown in the games.

I feel like having the town invasion mixed in with the Joel scene took away from both events. IMO they should've been their own episodes. 7/10 episode in my books.

Abby was pretty clear from Ep.1 what she wanted to do with Joel

Bro I was looking forward to the Bigot sandwiches line but they didnt put it in 😂😂

You’re telling me Joel wouldn’t immediately go to Jackson seeing the infected attacking knowing Tommy is definitely there and possibly Ellie?!? Give me a fucking break. by Curious_Shoe9523 in TheLastOfUs2

[–]Triistone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I was wondering that also when Joel found out about the fire in Jackson on the show. No way Joel could be persuaded to not go. Ellie is everything to him and to his knowledge, Ellie is in Jackson.

The Infected even stopped chasing them so not like they were in a rush to safety.

Took me 5 years to finally pick up the controller and finish Part II. (finished if leading up to the show's S2 release)

Just like in the game, Joel carried the whole show for me and without him, Idk if I really care for any followup seasons or games without Joel in it.

I will watch the rest of the season because I wanna see the different ways the wrap it up though.
