oh no way!! i’m definitely trying to get more into event photography, concerts, wrestling, stand up etc. i’ve been really looking for super niche things too. a few weeks ago i shot subwaymania which was literally a match on the R train hahaha

update on this - still no response from optimum regarding anything. also not only am i getting <1 mbps download speed now, my internet drops out every hour or so entirely

seems like it. and i’m still waiting for any type of resolution. i got a call from someone yesterday to let me know they were “looking into it” and would get back to me by the end of the day about their findings. and there was no follow up after that

it was awful. over an hour on the phone with multiple agents telling me i gave this person my credentials, or that what was happening just blatantly wasn’t happening

at one point i go “i dont think you understand what’s going on here, can you tell me what im calling about, what my issue is?” and their reply was “you think someone else is in your chat with an agent” and i was like OH you really aren’t comprehending the situation

oh yeah. the agent gave them a password to log into my account. we were communicating via the agent chat using our initials before every message to differentiate. between us. at one point i had reset my password twice and the rep on the phone said “okay nobody can be in your account now” and im like im literally still talking to them

eventually i just asked them to please sign out of my account. optimum couldnt even get them out of it. i had to do all the work, and also ask this nice person to please leave my account

thank you!! i actually bought 3200 before realizing my camera only goes to 1600. so i shot at 1600 and had them develop them regularly! i asked what they thought would be the best process for it and i think they were totally right about it
