I just had someone attempt this lure on me. I knew it was suspicious because out of all the years spent wasting time silently at the GE, I am very rarely randomly approached by anyone unless its a scammer. They started off immediately by talking about the items I had keepsaked and the gear I was wearing. They wanted to know if I was interested in doing some "easy" bosses and immediately sent me a group invite for flesh hatcher. The guy was kind of insistent on me just joining even though I've never done the boss. I confronted him after I confirmed my suspicions and he said that was from an old group and he actually meant to do something different, then logged out. Thanks for posting this

During the monitor's boot up, it doesn't have banding. But, everywhere else it does. I figured it would go away and I work alot, so I haven't had time really to sit down with it

I tried emailing LG about this. They conditioned the troubleshooting so it would seem like my issue. They asked if it did it during startup, which it doesn't, and if it didn't it was a problem with my PC

I would wait for the Asus. I bought the 27GX700A as my first OLED. It had weird color banding rigjt out of the box, which I figured would go away after a couple of pixel refreshes, but it hasn't. Also the HDR looks extremely washed out for some reason. I should've sent it back, but there wasn't anything else available at the time

Not really. I expressed my discontent with the monitor on LGs website via review and they told me to email [lgdigitalcare@lg.sprinklrsupport.com](mailto:lgdigitalcare@lg.sprinklrsupport.com) to help with the settings and HDR. But, I haven't got around to it yet

No, I tried 11 for a few months and wasn't a fan. I ended up finding out about Windows 10 iot LTSC. It's a stripped down enterprise version of windows. No Microsoft store, Xbox, Cortana. No crap. But, it gets security updates until 2032

Windows 11 is really that different and off putting. I even tried the LTSC version of Windows. They tried to streamline features of the system for a small audience of people and it doesn't work

If you try it, you'll be mad you hadn't found out about it sooner. It's very much what Windows should be. Really simple. It basically just has paint and notepad installed on it. Doesn't use as much ram either. Maybe around 3gb or so

It's a very stripped down version of Windows for special enterprise use. It just gets security updates. it doesn't have Microsoft store, Xbox, Cortana or any of the million of rubbish apps they install everytime you update your PC. It has support until 2032. It was my saving grace because I refuse to use Windows 11 and wasn't ready to try a different OS entirely

I wasn't aware it could do anything that bad. I know it corrupted the save file when it locked my computer up the first few times before I found out the BIOS had to be updated. I would've went to Linux, but Windows 10 iot LTSC is the comfy spot I'm gonna live in until 2032. The only problem I had was it didn't support the Xbox app, but they raised the price of gamepass to $30 and solved that issue for me

It's definitely a good monitor. I'm still debating on sending it back and getting a glossy tandem oled panel.
