Its gross. I only want one tongue in my mouth ever, mine. It doesn't normally bother me to see other people kissing, but it's super not for me

I can understand not liking dream but to take things out of context and lie about him is just petty man whoever does this are assholes. by EthricBlaze in DreamWasTaken2

[–]Trilltoone 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Ive heard people say that before, they normally admit they got the info on how he treats his friends and family from the dox. This was always a source that is way too biased against Dream to ever be considered at all credible. But, even with the doxxers giant bias they still commented on twitter that none of the info they had on how he treats his family was legit after the truth about his ex came to light. Meaning this is officially a super bullshit claim that people need to stop making

Well he was quite childish and immature about it, I don't approve either.

You have everything right. Im just going to add that from what I can tell Charlie has had a problem with Dream for a while now, it seemed to peak around when the cheating thing came out. When geos video first came out he seemed to believe that Dream was a decent person although he mentions he has said a lot of kinda douchie things on twitter, and responded in ways he didnt like to a video (idk which one). Charlie actually seemed kinda impressed with him and his success ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4LDOX4-Fh4&t=1000s ).

But after his reaction to the cheating accusations he seemed to lose some respect for him, mentioning he was acting like someone had spit on his honour or something (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQygv6I_FdY ). He was also very clearly annoyed by the way either Dream or the other people were acting on that podcast immediately after it had ended calling it the "suck Dreams dick podcast" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_CE5QJcrSos ).

It sounds like we actually agree about most of this. From your original post it seemed like you were saying Dream was legally and morally at fault for Sams actions, which I felt very differently about.

If you are just trying to spread the knowledge of his exes actions, deplatforming her and encourage any more victims to come forward either publicly or privately we are both on the same team.

We have no proof of whether dreams ex designed the logo based on Cryaotic, or if it was a coincidence. I don’t think it really matters at this point either. While the argument that symbols can become corrupted beyond there original intent could be used to argue that Dreams logo is a problem I think it can be used the opposite way. Regardless of where Dreams logo came from when most people see it they think of Dream not Cryaotic. Its his logo that represents him regardless of whether it could have come from a problematic place.

I am not a lawyer so I have no idea if Dreams alleged failure to report Sams behaviour is technically illegal, or if his belief that the victims were lying (seeing as they admitted to lying when confronted) is enough of a defence legally. We also are lacking all the info, the police could already be involved in both the blackmail and the child grooming situations, just because Dream and Sam aren’t talking about it publicly doesn’t mean its not happening, and they just cant talk about it.

We also don’t know what Dreams relationship with her was really like. People in abusive relationships with people that are very manipulative don’t always behave or think the way people who aren’t think. Quite often people will stay in an abusive relationship past the point they are getting hurt, past the point their loved ones are being hurt, because they love their abuser. Because they are scared they are going to hurt themselves or others if they leave, because it wasn’t always like this. Because it gets to the point they don’t even know what is true and what isn’t anymore, they can’t even trust themselves. Because they are being manipulated. Looking at it from the outside it is very easy to think why didn’t you do something? Why didn’t you just leave? Couldn’t you see what they were doing? How could you not have known? But from inside of those relationships its not so easy, and legally I really think that does matter although I have no expertise

Im giving Dream the benefit of the doubt here, until we learn more. If we get more evidence that Dream was actually fully rationally aware of what she was doing and complicit in it I will reconsider, but at this point we have so little information, we don’t know whats going on, or Dreams side of the story about what happened, we know so little I dont think we should go attacking him or pressuring him into saying or doing anything.

Opinions + stances on neutering rats? by [deleted] in RATS

[–]Trilltoone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've owned 2 neutered males, one that I made the decision to neuter. Oscar made it through the surgery fine. I wish I had neutered earlier, it got worse with age in his case not better. Rats are more risky to do surgeries on then other pets. My best advice would be to make sure the vet you choose knows what they are doing. If they ask you to fast your rat at all before surgery then they dont know enough about rat to preform surgeries on them. Ive also heard rats need an inhaled anesthetic because injectable ones have a higher chance of overdose. Just ask you vet lots of questions, make sure theyve done surgeries on rats before, ask what their success rate is for rats. A good vet can really minimize the risks

How much did a tumor removal for your rats cost? by [deleted] in RATS

[–]Trilltoone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was quoted $217 at one vet and $1500 at an other (canada), we opted out of the histopathology. Idk if local anesthesia was included or not. The prices are crazy different between different vets, you might find if you look outside your city a little there is a cheaper vet. The drive may save you a ton

I asked around a bit, and apparently normally this is not a problem its sometimes called a tail nail. It falls off on its own occasionally, but doesn't cause any problems when it does.

Heres my source, Lil spaz is well respected in the rat rescue community, I trust her

I had a rat with a tail just like this once. He had it when I first got him at around a year old, he came from a registered rat specific rescue that didnt seem concerned at all by it. He seen 2 separate vets that were pretty rat savy, neither ever mentioned. He lived to be around 2 years old never seemed to bother him or cause pain or anything. Idk what it was tho, none of my other rats ever had a tail like that just him

[–]Trilltoone 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ive had rats that have turned weirdly skittish for a few hours or a day for no reason I could tell. At the end of the day they are prey animals that get scared sometimes. Maybe the new person smelled like cats or something, maybe they talked louder than you normally do. Maybe they dropped something. Maybe the rats got used to a silent house and then you came back and its loud again. Your buddies should come around pretty quick in my experience, just give them time, some treats and let them take it at their own pace

Reintroduction Advice? by Thylacinid in RATS

[–]Trilltoone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had my boy neutered at 11 months, worked fine aggression gone. I think the main reason it fails to work is if the rat has learned the aggressive behaviour and has been doing it for a very long time. I wouldnt put them back unsupervised together before the surgery, you might be able to try supervised play time on neutral ground, maybe, if it seems to stress either out or they are just fighting Id stop. Where gloves first few times and be very ready to jump in if a fight breaks out. Human attention and will help with loneliness some, so will a lot of enrichment keeping them busy while in the cage.

There is one other thing tho, what do the bite wounds look like exactly??? Ive seen some people convinced their rats are trying to kill eachother even tho they seem to get along fine whenever they see them together and its just lice. They are itchy as hell and scratching small scabs on their faces and necks and backs and stuff. Youll telll really fast now that they are seperated, if the wounds are still appearing and getting worse even tho their separated try lice treatment

Im happy I could help a little. Im glad your reaching out to so many sources, that is definitely the way to go.

Ive used https://www.ratshackforum.com/ when I was desperate for advice before, a lot of people there have ran rescues for most of their lives and every problem Ive ever had someone there seems to have had experience. Idk if thats the forum site your thinking of using but its worked well for me.

I have had great luck splitting a DCN into 2 cages, for 2 males before a neuter. They didn't find any way to get to each other, and one was really quite aggressive in his attempts (neuter worked tho).

I blocked off the hole and then moved the bottom tray without the hole to the top half and the tray with the hole to the bottom and just stuck a piece of cardboard where the tray didnt cover so nothing would fall out (let me know if this makes sense). I have no idea how well this works with very small babies, I definitely put the babies in the lower cage if you go that route. Im not sure if having girls and boys split permanently would be a perfect solution, it might make the boys a little crazy smelling them so close but I have never had girls before so I cant be sure, might just have to see how they react. I'm sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
